Life-changing permaculture skills
My month WWOOFing here was truly transformative. I learned practical permaculture techniques I couldn't get from books - from companion planting to natural pest management. The hosts were incredibly knowledgeable and patient. I've already started applying these methods in my community garden back home!
Field to Table: A Perfect Farm Experience
My month at Lemon Agro Farm was incredible! Working alongside the Bastola family, I divided my time between field work and the kitchen. Mornings spent harvesting organic vegetables transformed into afternoon cooking sessions where I learned traditional family recipes. The Bastolas patiently taught me how to turn our freshly-picked ingredients into delicious, authentic meals. This perfect blend of agricultural work and culinary skills has changed how I view food. I left with farming knowledge, cooking techniques, and wonderful memories of shared meals with this generous family!
From city life to farm skills
As a complete beginner from the city, I was worried about keeping up. The hosts were incredibly supportive and tailored tasks to my abilities. In just two weeks, I learned how to start seedlings, maintain a greenhouse, and even help with sheep herding! The practical skills I gained have sparked a new passion for sustainable living.
